The University’s Development Office is a dynamic, professional and internationally-renowned fundraising organisation. It leads the £3bn Oxford Thinking campaign – the biggest and most ambitious fundraising campaign for higher education in Europe. The Office champions partnership with academic and development colleagues throughout the collegiate University to build enduring relationships with external constituencies – including alumni, non-alumni, corporate and foundation donors.

The Donor Relations Coordinator is a pivotal position within the energetic and wide-ranging Campaign Relations Team. The role involves the co-ordination of donor recognition, thanking and stewardship projects, in particular to support the major donor societies (Vice-Chancellor’s Circle, and the Chancellor’s Court of Benefactors). Assistance will also be required for certain high-profile stewardship and University events.

It is a fixed-term position until the end of May 2018.

The postholder will have considerable organisational skills and project management skills, excellent communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail. S/he will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and resilient, as well as a team player. The role also requires working independently and decisively, and exercising sound and cool judgement under pressure. The postholder will report to the Deputy Head of Campaign Relations.

You will be required to upload a letter of application as part of your online application.

Only applications received before 12.00 noon on Monday 8 January 2018 can be considered. Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on Thursday 18 January 2018.
