Part time Lecturer in Osteopathy (maternity cover)

Salary: £26,814 to £31,066 per annum (pro rata to £33,518 to £38,833), together with USS pension benefits if required.

To deliver its top 20 ambition Swansea University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer with excellence in teaching in the College of Human and Health Sciences.

The College is currently pursuing an exciting and innovative strategy of expanding its multi professional programme provision. As part of this the College has a well-established and successfully validated undergraduate MOst programme, which continues to attract increasing numbers of students. This programme, the only one of its kind in Wales provides a platform for innovative Osteopathic teaching and research, and we are now looking to add to our dynamic osteopathic team by the appointment of a suitably qualified candidate with academic potential and interest in Osteopathy to develop their career.

You must have a good degree or diploma in Osteopathy that provides eligibility of registration with the General Osteopathy Council (GOsC). Possession of a Post graduate qualification in Osteopathy or related field is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be given support to further their academic and professional development.

The post also requires high quality delivery of teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.
