Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Strategic Teaching Fellow with appropriate disciplinary experience and educational qualification and expertise to take a leading role in the ongoing review and development of the School’s curriculum and related development of innovative pedagogy.

Duties and responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for managing the review of the MEng curricula, liaising between the department T&L Management group and Imperial’s EDU and strategic teaching fellows from other disciplinary areas and working with a wide range of colleagues, students and external stakeholders to develop and promote innovative curriculum design and delivery.

Essential requirements

A proven track record in pedagogic delivery and development in higher education in design, engineering or a related field; demonstrable interest and understanding in T&L innovation including with technology enhanced learning, active learning, collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches, evidence of effective leadership, influencing and communication skills;  knowledge and expertise in T&L quality management procedures; ability to contribute academic and/or professional expertise in T&L delivery of a subject area relevant to the MEng programme.
