The UCL Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment is the UKfs largest and leading multidisciplinary Faculty of the Built Environment; covering Architecture, Construction and Project Management, Planning and Environmental Design and other specialist fields. Part of this Faculty, the Bartlett School of Architecture is itself home to researchers working in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and engineering.

The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a Research & Enterprise Administrator to proactively contribute to the development and implementation of the Bartlett School of Architecturefs research and enterprise activities. The successful candidate will work with researchers from across these disciplines, playing a key role in supporting the coordination of research assessments, the preparation of proposals to secure external funding, the management of internally funded research projects, and the provision of ongoing staff support. The post holder will work closely with the Research Manager, the Director and Associate Director of Research, and the Director of Enterprise.

We are seeking candidates who have prior experience of providing administrative support and working in a higher education or research environment. An understanding or experience of university funding administration is key, together with the ability to analyse research proposals and business plans. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, enabling them to liaise and collaborate with staff across a range of disciplinary backgrounds. In addition, they will demonstrate excellent numeracy skills and be able to analyse budgets and present management information to a high standard. The ability to work collaboratively as well as independently is also highly important, as is a proactive and flexible approach to work.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,014 - £32,830 per annum , inclusive of London Allowance.
