Full time starting salary is normally in the range £39,993 to £47,722. With potential progression once in post to £53,690 a year. (Grade 8)

The Head of Engagement (Alumni Relations) will be a key member of the Leadership team, which advises on DARO strategy and manages the key day-to-day activity across the office. They will be responsible for the creation and high quality delivery of the engagement programmes for DARO’s key audiences, which are intended to inspire individuals to stay in contact and to give their time, networks and/or money to support the University.

The Head of Engagement will also be responsible for stakeholder management of a number of key contacts both internally and externally, and oversee the delivery of an ambitious engagement strategy for each of DARO’s key audiences of alumni, donors, students, parents, staff, and former staff.

As Head of Engagement, they will be responsible for the exciting public launch of the next campaign, which will include delivery across all channels and a significant regional and international dimension to the launch activity. The post holder will work directly with a range of colleagues across the office and University leadership on the development of launch activities. They will also be responsible for leading a bold and dynamic engagement team who work with pace and energy to deliver all core parts of the engagement programmes.
