Faculty within the School operate in five subject groups (Economics; Finance and Accounting; Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship; Work, Organisation and Management; Marketing and Operations) but adopt a distinctive, highly collaborative approach, working in interdisciplinary teams which span the School and University.

The Accounting and Finance Group of the University of Liverpool Management School is now seeking to appoint two new colleagues in Accounting at the level of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (the equivalent to Assistant/Associate Professor). The individuals appointed will play a central role in the continued growth of the School and contribute to our core objectives for research and teaching in Accounting. Candidates will possess a relevant PhD and a strong track record of publications in world-leading and internationally excellent journals in Accounting or Accounting & Finance.

Candidates for the Lecturer role (Grade 8) will possess a relevant PhD, or be close to completion of a PhD, in the area of Accounting. Candidates for Lecturer will demonstrate an embryonic track record of publications in world-leading or internationally excellent journals in any area of the accounting. For appointment at the Senior Lecturer (Grade 9) level, candidates will have an existing track record of top-level publications in accounting over a number of years. In both cases, candidates will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating a capacity to sustain and extend the existing high level of output.

Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track record commensurate with the post as they will teach in the undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of the student experience and for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.
