PhD Scholarship Opportunity in Law

Applications are invited from highly qualified and motivated applicants to take up a new PhD scholarship opportunity in the Department of Law in the School of Law, Politics and Sociology (LPS) at the University of Sussex. The LPS Doctoral Scholarship, in the form of a full fee waiver is available from September 2018 (only) for a period of three years. There may also be an exceptional stipend of approximately £14,500 awarded for an outstanding application. Successful applicants will be expected to make an active contribution to the School's research culture in their departments and any School-based research centres that map on to their research project.

Applications are sought in any field of Law where main supervision can be arranged within the School. There is a two-stage process for applications with two separate application deadlines.

1.You must submit a complete online application for a place to study for a Law PhD  by Monday 12th March 2018 (Please clearly indicate on your online application that you intend to apply for the LPS Doctoral Scholarship).

2.You will must submit an email application for the LPS Scholarship to by 4pm on Monday 7th May 2018 using the form on this link
