Reader in Marketing

The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) combines innovative and world-renowned 4* research in one of the most creative universities in the UK with the expertise of leading academics in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship, strategy, business psychology, innovation, leadership development, and marketing. We are now seeking a Reader in Marketing to join our expanding group in this area; they will contribute to the development, teaching, and high-impact research output of marketing in the IMS.

You will have a good first degree and PhD, exceptional professional and teaching experience in marketing or a related area, and an internationally recognised portfolio of research. We are looking for candidates with expertise in areas such as consumer research, marketing communications, digital marketing, retailing, innovation management, technology marketing, branding, marketing ethics, and/or strategic marketing. We would encourage applications, although not essential, from candidates with a quantitative background, and teaching and/or research experience in the areas marketing analytics and big data. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision and development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and enhance the IMS’ research profile via collaborations, external funding success, and high-impact publications.

Remuneration:

Reader salary range £61,529.01 - £63,283.10 (Grade 10)
