This is a fixed term (up to six years) Clinical Lectureship tenable in the Institute of Health and Wellbeing. Suitable applicants will hold MRCPsych (UK) or equivalent and will have completed general professional training in Psychiatry. The successful candidate will be appointed at the level of Specialist/Specialty Registrar and will enter the West of Scotland Higher Specialty Training Programme. Applicants must possess a national training number at the time of taking up the post. The post will be based within Mental Health & Wellbeing Research Group at Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Glasgow, but for training and research purposes rotation to other clinical units or departments may be required, including the Sackler Centre at the QEUH. In addition to research and teaching, clinical training in general adult psychiatry will be a component of the Lectureship in order to ensure the appointee can successfully complete his/her CCT.
