Professor in Statistical Science

The Department of Statistical Science at UCL invites applications for a Professor in Statistical Science. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in world leading research in statistics or applied probability, and to provide academic leadership in the development of their subject area, as well as contributing to the teaching activities of the Department and to its management.

Applicants will need to have: a track record of research of a world class level of excellence in some area of Statistical Science; demonstrated ability to attract research funding; demonstrated commitment and ability to teach successfully in English at university level; experience of academic and administrative leadership and management; and a collegial approach with the ability to foster the strategic ambitions of others. The appointment will be on UCL Grade 10. The salary range will be Competitive, inclusive of London Allowance.
