Faculty Marketing Support Officer

Reporting to and working with the Faculty Marketing Manager, research, plan and manage projects, processes and campaigns within the overarching Student Recruitment Marketing Strategy and Plan for allocated faculties. Activities will range from the planning and production of marketing activities such as coordinating content audits and updates, gathering content for MSR purposes, delivery of local campaign plans, coordinating faculty open day presence. This role will focus on advising and supporting the allocated faculties in student recruitment and conversion.

The Person

The postholder will work flexibly to ensure their contribution is made across all areas of MSR and this will involves attending events, supporting and collaborating with other parts of the MSR team and being a team player. Working with the relevant Faculty Marketing Managers the aim is to optimise the position and proposition of Faculty provision through the student recruitment cycles - whilst integrating and benefiting from university-wide marketing programmes.


Our Marketing and Communications Directorate provides a strategic operational and advisory service to the University on all aspects of external promotion and internal publicity. This includes UK and international marketing, student recruitment, admissions, widening participation, market research, website management, social media, media relations, branding, copy writing, editing, design and print. We are committed to providing inspiring, accessible and relevant information in a timely and useful manner. This role is based in the Marketing and UK Student Recruitment team within the directorate.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
