£49149  to £56950 per annum (pro-rata if part time) together with USS pension benefits, if required.

The normal expectation is that the successful applicant will be appointed to the minimum of the scale with annual increments on 1 October each year (subject to completing six months service).

APM Grade 10.

This is a fixed term role for 1 year. 

Main Purpose of the Post

The Technology Director will be responsible for management of a team of Senior Technology Transfer staff, leadership and coordination of industrial technology scale-up and joint leadership of the strategic direction of the centre with the Commercial Engagement Director and the Academic Director).

The Industrial Technology Director will be responsible for delivering the demonstrator aspects of the EPSRC / Innovate UK / ERDF funded SPECIFIC2 operation.
