Trainee Systematic Reviewer – Salary Band: Grade 3, £22,524 - £24,482 per annum 

For this role, appointments are usually made at circa £23,500 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Systematic Reviewer – Salary Band: Grade 4, £26,900 - £35,867 per annum

For this role, appointments are usually made at circa £30,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the National Guideline Centre (NGC), a multi-disciplinary health services research team mainly funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the position of trainee systematic reviewer or systematic reviewer. Appointment to either post will be dependent on experience. 

If you are interested in health related guidelines and have a desire to make a difference in improving healthcare delivery and the quality of patient care, we would be delighted to hear from you. The NGC produces evidence-based clinical practice guidelines on behalf of NICE specialising in guidance for acute and chronic conditions across a wide and varied range of clinical topics.  The NGC also provides research support to a number of external commissioners. The NGC is a vibrant, dedicated and enthusiastic team with a staff currently of around 60 people and is part of the Royal College of Physicians of London. See the NGC website at
