Salary: £29,799 to £38,833 per annum. Subject to annual pay award.

We are seeking to appoint a Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) in the Department of Chemistry at Loughborough University ASAP. The project is funded by EPSRC until 31 January 2019. This post is related to the EPSRC project titled "Sustainable manufacturing of transparent conducting oxide (TCO) inks and thin films".

This project is a collaboration between Loughborough University (Department of Chemistry, Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Design School) and UCL (Department of Chemistry) and it is aimed at developing processes and resources towards sustainable and inexpensive high quality transparent conducting oxide (TCO) films (and printed tracks) on float glass, plastics and steel, in particular, replacement materials for Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) and F-doped Tin Oxide (FTO).

The successful applicant will have experience and expertise in nano-particle preparation and formulation of dispersions and AACVD deposition and thin film coatings in related to process chemistry mentioned above. Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field (i.e. Chemistry or Materials Science).
