About the role:

The Faculty of Medical Science is the newest of our University’s five faculties. The Faculty builds on the strong national and international reputation of our flagship Postgraduate Medical Institute (PMI) and is committed to further developing our teaching, learning and research expertise in allied and public health, postgraduate medicine and healthcare science. As such, we are investing in new state-of-the-art laboratories and training facilities.

We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Pharmaceutical Research Group. This will be a full time position for a duration of 18 months. You’ll be working on our current project ‘Developing Surfactant-Based Delivery systems for The Treatment of Breast Cancer’. With a PhD, you’ll be able to demonstrate competence in cancer molecular biology and formulation science, have experience in writing concise reports, comprehensive review and research articles, and have an understanding of the techniques applicable to the aforementioned research area. Furthermore, you’ll be able to analyse data critically and will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach.
