Support Services Supervisor

University of Reading - Library

We are seeking a Support Services Supervisor to supervise the Evening Service Attendants and provide a hands-on approach to running the teams. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and clean environment for Library users to work in.

You will have:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for team working, staff supervision and customer care.
  • A flexible approach and the ability to work independently without close supervision and to take appropriate initiative when necessary.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety responsibilities at work.
  • A good general level of education including English Language to GCSE.
  • A flexible approach to work and the willingness to provide cover for colleagues as necessary.
  • A willingness to work weekends
