Clinical Research Associate II

We’re looking for a talented and energetic Clinical Research Associate II to join the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Research Group (PIDRG). S/he will coordinate the delivery of the NeoAMR project, a research and development programme run by the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP), a joint initiative of DNDi and the WHO,which aims to develop new, globally applicable, empiric antibiotic regimens and strategies for the treatment of neonatal sepsis in settings with varying prevalence of Multi Drug Resistance (MDR) pathogens designing and conducting pharmacokinetic, observational and interventional studies in high MDR setting to determine efficacy and safety of new empiric regimens compared to existing therapies.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the site management and monitoring activities of the neoAMR observational study. You will be expected to work independently with minimum supervision and will be required to anticipate and resolve problems that may prove bottlenecks in the achievement of agreed milestone goals. You will be expected to demonstrate intellectual ability and a significant degree of creativity to devise varied solutions.

The post specifically requires an appointment of an individual with proven data management or clinical research monitoring experience (including initiation, routine monitoring and closeout visits). This position is key to good communication and professional relationships with clinical investigators and international colleagues.

Extensive travel may be required (50% on a regular basis). Fluency in other languages would be a distinct advantage.

The salary for this position will be within the range of SGUL7: £39,992 - £47,722 per annum plus London Allowance of £3,027.
