Closing Date: 31 January 2018

You will join our PGCert Low Intensity in Psychological Therapies teaching team in the School of Psychology. You will play a crucial role in PGCert (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner training) and should be working in a relevant profession. Two examples of this are a) experience of the PWP role (or equivalent) and b) formal CBT training with a 'desirable' being an interest in an additional element of PWP work (e.g. self-help, use of community resources, values/diversity).

You will possess relevant training (e.g. Post-Graduate Diploma, PWP or GMHW qualification, or equivalent) and will have appropriate professional experience.  Experience of training and supervision is essential for appointment at Grade F but only desirable for appointment at Grade E.

You will possess clinical therapeutic skills linked to a relevant mental health profession and have the ability to relate fluently to the range of individuals likely to be encountered in the Tutoring role, including trainees, colleagues and a range of NHS and University staff.

Tenable for twelve months on a part time basis of between 3.7 and 22.2 hours per week.  It is expected that you will take up post around January 2018 or soon after. If appointed on a secondment basis the grade will be at either Band 5 or Band 6 on NHS payscales.

Informal enquiries should be directed to Dr Mark Papworth, Course Director (mark.papworth@ncl.ac.uk, 0191 208 7925).
