Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing

We are expanding our taught course portfolio and are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to join our team of experienced staff within the Nursing and Healthcare subject group. We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic academic to contribute to our provision primarily within pre-registration adult field of practice.

To be considered for interview you are required to hold a relevant Doctoral degree and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You will be able to demonstrate your critical understanding of current health policy, practice and how they relate to healthcare education and workforce development. You will be expected to provide evidence of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment. Applications are encouraged from candidates with teaching experience primarily in adult health pre-registration nursing, but we also welcome applicants with mental health, community and public health nursing fields of practice experience.

With the support of two research centres, Health Promotion and Dementia, the School offers a wide range of exciting and challenging subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The focus of our education and research is to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities for which we liaise closely with a range of Professional, Regulatory and Statutory Bodies, as well as employers who provide placements for our students.
