Senior Lecturer Diagnostic Radiography

Kingston University - Department of Radiography

The Role
Forward-looking. Focused. Visionary. Kingston University is yours to motivate. This is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge with our enthusiastic students by supporting the development and delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Join the dedicated team at our successful and progressive Department of Radiography, and you will teach and assess students and support them in clinical practice. Your varied role will also include liaising with placement providers, undertaking administration and contributing to the Department’s overall management. What’s more, you will have the chance to engage in research and collaborative projects. In May 2017 the Department will move to the St George's site.

The Person
An HCPC-registered professional, you will have considerable clinical experience in radiography. This will be supported by a degree or professional qualification in diagnostic radiography and ideally a relevant postgraduate qualification. Teaching experience would be desirable, not essential. You should, however, be willing to study for a teaching qualification, if you don’t already have one, and have some experience of practice development. Your radiography expertise will be complemented by the communication skills to inspire students, express complex information and build relationships with colleagues, with the aim of giving every student the best possible education and experience.

The Faculty
The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education is a unique partnership between Kingston University and St George’s University of London and is a leading provider of health, social care and education programmes. Our reputation for innovation in teaching, research excellence and graduate prospects attracts students with potential and ambition onto our nursing, midwifery, social work, paramedic science, physiotherapy, radiography and education courses.
