The Data and Market Research team support Communications and Marketing activity through the production of marketing intelligence and provision of a range of dashboards, infographics and reports.

We are seeking an organised and analytical individual to assist with a wide range of research, using both qualitative and quantitative resources to better understand student behaviour and marketing opportunities. This role includes the maintenance of dashboards and large datasets, analysing and interpreting recruitment trends and creating methods of communicating research outcomes clearly and comprehensively.

As a new role, there is opportunity for the right candidate to shape the direction of the role to best fit their skills and expertise. Furthermore, there are new areas of research providing opportunities for exploratory work as well as a chance to fine tune methodologies and communication techniques to further enhance the work of the team.

The successful candidate will need superb IT skills, with particular strength in spreadsheet and database packages, ideally including experience using Tableau or a similar Business Intelligence tool to analyse big data.  

Knowledge of research methodologies and analytical techniques are essential, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and explain complex analyses to a range of stakeholders. Although part of a small team, the successful candidate will have initiative and be able to work well independently on some projects.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,014 - £ 32,830  per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
