European Co-ordinator - CG1616HM

We are seeking a professional and highly motivated individual, with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to join us as a full-time European Co-ordinator to support developments arising from the University’s international strategy.

The post holder will have responsibility for the co-ordination of services associated with our portfolio of European partnerships as we aim to develop and strengthen strategic relationships with institutions in Europe. Specifically, you will work with the CSA Officers to ensure that institutional agreements are fit for purpose and compliant with legislative changes; that European networks are maintained; and that events for partner universities and students from European institutions are co-ordinated in line with University priorities amongst a range of other associated tasks. 

You will keep abreast of developments impacting Higher Education in a European context, including in relation to the involvement of UK HEIs in the Erasmus+ programme, proactively liaising with partners and ensuring that messaging for prospective and current students is clear, accurate and up to date. 

You will have experience of working in a busy, customer-focused environment, and be committed to enhancing our service to students, staff and external contacts worldwide. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach, enabling you to provide a tailored service to a range of internal and external customers. 

You will possess the ability to work in a team environment, whilst also being comfortable working independently and with a minimum of supervision. You will be confident at working to tight deadlines and at prioritising operational activities. The post-holder will report to the Collaborations Officer but will provide support across the Collaborations and Study Abroad team. 

This post is offered on a full-time fixed-term basis for two years.

Start date: as soon as possible.

From 2019, this post will be primarily based at Eden Campus, Guardbridge.
