Postdoctoral Research (0.5 FTE) Grade 7 - Clothes, Chocolate and Children: Realising the Transparency Dividend

We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on a multidisciplinary project examining the impact of transparency requirements on supply chain governance, tracing labour exploitation within global production networks of chocolate and clothing in low and middle income countries. The role will be based in Liverpool with occasional travel including to India, Dominican Republic and Bangladesh. Experience of research into the global production networks, forced labour, and/or development issues would be advantageous. You should have a PhD (or about to obtain) that is relevant to these topics. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and as part of multidisciplinary team.

The post is available from 13 March 2018 until 12 March 2019.
