The Division of Brain Sciences is recruiting a Research Associate to work in the Cognitive, Computational and Clinical Neuroimaging Laboratory with Drs Adam Hampshire and Robert Leech within the Department of Medicine at Imperial College London.

The researcher will use machine learning techniques, computational simulations and Bayesian optimisation methods to investigate how frontal lobe networks coordinate in order to support human cognitive functions. This will be with a particular focus on fMRI and EEG data.

The Research Associate will be expected to develop novel techniques for modelling cognitive tasks at the levels of both brain and behaviour, to develop new cognitive tasks for fMRI/EEG, and to collaborate with other researchers in the Hampshire and Leech labs.

Previous experience with functional imaging, computational modelling or machine learning is an advantage.

The post is funded for 22 months.
