This level of salary recognises frequent international travel, unsociable hours and weekend work for which no additional payment will be made.

Hours:  Full Time – 37 hours per week

Accountable to: Director of International Office

Purpose of Post:

The post holder will play a key role in the development of Cardiff Metropolitan University’s global international strategy in order to grow the number of full fee paying international students at all academic levels studying at Cardiff campuses. The post holder will also play a key role in developing and sustaining synergies with Cardiff Met’s Transnational Education partners and international student recruitment to Cardiff campuses.  The post holder will represent Cardiff Metropolitan University in a number of overseas countries. The post holder will play a major role in protecting and growing the vital income streams which international activities bring in to the University.

A key member of the International Office Team, the post holder will have significant input into all issues relating to Cardiff Metropolitan University’s International Office functions. The post holder must possess excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills as well as a high level of initiative in order to ensure that the most efficient and effective systems are in place to support the marketing and recruitment function of Cardiff Metropolitan University’s International Office.
