Salary: £35,550 to £47,722 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an enthusiastic team delivering sport rehabilitation & physiotherapy education and undertaking related research. The Division of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences delivers a range of programmes leading to registerable qualifications, delivers an MSc in Physiotherapy related professional development and contributes to a number of other multi-professional masters programmes. It also offers a wide range of professional development activities and supports research programs at both MPhil and PhD level.

This post has arisen due to the ongoing development of the BSc in Sport Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of taught courses and also contribute to research development within the Department.

The Division has access to research facilities including a Human Performance Laboratory, with specialist movement analysis equipment, and additional equipment allows evaluation of other physiological measures, including peripheral nerve activity and cardiovascular dynamics. Opportunities to collaborate with other academic and clinical departments within Nottingham, and with other research centres will be encouraged. The post will include academic, and depending on experience, clinical responsibilities for students.

For this post, candidates should have relevant qualifications, preferably related to sport rehabilitation. Qualifications and/or experience related to strengthening & conditioning and human movement analysis and performance would be an advantage. Appropriate support for personal development will be available.
