The Research Development Administrator (Performance) is a pivotal post within the Institute of Education's (IOE) Research Development team to support and develop the IOE's world-class research agenda. You will operate across the areas of research evaluation, metrics and intelligence. You will provide key support for IOE preparations for Research Excellence Framework (REF) exercises, develop and pioneer new metrics, develop, optimize and maintain IOE research information systems, and work closely with academic and professional services colleagues with the IOE and UCL Office of the Vice Provost Research (OVPR). In addition, you will support the wider activities of the Research Development team as required.

The role requires a high level of data management, analysis and reporting expertise; the ability to manage a complex workload, and take the initiative. You must have good working knowledge and experience of research within UK Higher Education, including the Research Excellence Framework. You are a strong team player, sharing information and ideas, and supporting colleagues as part of a multi-functional team.
