Staff Tutor in Psychology

As an academic member of both the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the School of Psychology, you will have a key role in keeping the OU in the forefront of supported distance higher education, particularly in designing and facilitating effective teaching of the School’s modules, qualifications and programmes. You will also be responsible for the selection, monitoring and staff development of part-time Associate Lecturers, who teach modules across 4 British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited undergraduate psychology qualifications, a counselling qualification, and 2 postgraduate qualifications.

You will hold as a minimum requirement a postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in Psychology or a cognate area, and have relevant experience of teaching and management of teaching, and student support.

You will be based at Milton Keynes with the expectation that you will be present in the location on average 3 days a week, with the remainder of your time worked from home. Travel to other UK locations for School or Faculty work may be expected periodically.
