The Royal Veterinary College is ranked first in Europe and third in the world. But we are determined to do more, and do better, to support and facilitate enhancement of learning and teaching and innovative methods of curriculum delivery. 
We are looking for a new colleague to join the department of Learning and Wellbeing and lead the Educational Development team. The Head of Educational Development will play a key role in developing a framework for inclusive academic practice and curriculum delivery that supports the wellbeing of students and staff at RVC. This will include a strategic role in promoting best practice in teaching, learning and assessment; the development of academic staff through communities of practice; and study skills support for students.

You will have a track record of success in educational development and student learning development, and the academic credibility to inspire your colleagues. You will be enthusiastic highly organised and used to working in a fast-paced environment that can design, deliver and evaluate a variety of learning solutions and interventions for staff and students. You will possess exceptional skills in persuasion and diplomacy as part of excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
