Lecturer (Criminology)

We are seeking to appoint two scholars to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and to enhance our Criminology research profile.

For these posts we welcome applications from those with specialisms in one or more of the following: criminal justice policy; penology; critical criminology/zemiology; 'race' and ethnicity; cultural criminology and environmental criminology. Other areas and specialisms will also be considered.

The Department of Sociology includes the following research centres: Research Centre for Applied Social Science; Crime and Well-Being Big Data Centre; Manchester Centre for Youth Studies; Policy Evaluation and Research Unit; Manchester Metropolitan Q Step Centre; Sites of Resistance; Substance Use and Addictive Behaviours.
