Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Chemistry

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work with Professor Harry L Anderson on a project funded by the European Research Council for a fixed term period of 14 months. The project involves investigating cooperative phenomena in supramolecular nanostructures. Find out more about the research group at:

You should have a PhD in chemistry, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. Experience in organic synthesis or physical organic chemistry is essential.

Duties will include managing own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small-scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of research and testing hypotheses and analysing scientific data from a variety of sources, reviewing and refining working hypotheses as appropriate.

The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA.
