Veterinary Physiotherapist

We are seeking to appoint a Veterinary Physiotherapist to continue growth of an established Rehabilitation Centre at the Hospital for Small Animals (HfSA), Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. The successful applicant will provide veterinary physiotherapy in the School’s HfSA. There may be scope to provide care for the Equine Hospital in the future if deemed necessary by clinical demand. Some flexibility in working hours may be required.

You must be a member of ACPAT (Cat A) or eligible to become a member of Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).

The main function of this post is the provision of physiotherapy to both internal and external referral cases to the Rehabilitation Centre. The post holder will also be involved in the clinical teaching of veterinary physiotherapy to our BVM&S undergraduate degree programme as well as to postgraduate training and education programmes. Support will be given to develop clinical interests and skills through CPD opportunities, an in the field of clinical research.

The position will be for a period of 14 months and is available from April 2018.
