To make a leading contribution to a MRC funded project investigating drug resistance in veterinary trypanosomes. The post holder will be working under the supervision of Professor Michael Barrett (Principal Investigator) within the Wellcome Centre for Molecular Parasitology (WCMP) of the Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation.

The position requires knowledge in the area of parasite biology and drug resistance. Specifically, the post holder will conduct, manage and publish research in the area of drug resistance in veterinary trypanosomes as well as assist in managing and directing this complex and challenging project.

This post is full time and is fixed term until 31 October 2018.
