Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Applied Entomology

Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Applied Entomology. This is a full-time academic post in the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science within the Environment & Sustainable Resource Management Section. The appointee will join a team of 16 full-time academics within the Section who are involved with teaching and research in agri-environmental sciences, crop protection, soil science, nutrient management, wildlife conservation, forestry and horticulture. The appointee will be responsible for teaching in applied entomology and crop protection in agriculture, forestry and horticulture.

The successful candidate will be offered a temporary (3 year) or permanent position based on his/her experience and trajectory, as determined by the interview board.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €51,807 - €79,194 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
