Admissions Officer (Data & Analysis)

We are seeking a full-time member of staff to support the work of our undergraduate admissions team through the delivery of quality management information and analysis. In addition to supporting the day-to-day selection of new undergraduate students you will also provide key support to the Head of Undergraduate Admissions in their responsibilities for planning and managing undergraduate student numbers and supporting teams across the department and wider university with admissions-related requirements.

The Undergraduate Admissions team are responsible for the application and admissions process for all students seeking undergraduate entry through UCAS. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience and build relationships with colleagues in marketing, recruitment and widening participation teams as you support them with their data needs. This role includes opportunities for team working and significant independent work, and will involve balancing longer-term projects with more immediate bespoke data needs.

You will ideally have a varied skill-set, including excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience with databases and records systems is essential, and proficiency with statistical analysis packages (such as SPSS) would be an asset.
