Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Animal Science, UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science (Permanent or Temporary, 3 years)

Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Animal Science. This is a full-time academic post within the Animal and Crop Sciences Section in the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science. The appointee will join a highly motivated research-active team who are involved with teaching and research in areas including ruminant and non-ruminant production systems, reproductive physiology, animal nutrition, and animal breeding and genetics.

The successful candidate will be offered a temporary (3 years) or permanent position based on his/her experience and trajectory, as determined by the interview board.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €51,807 - €79,194 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
