Teaching Fellow (80239-018)

University of Warwick - Warwick Foundation Studies

Fixed-term position at 0.5 FTE until 30 June 2019.

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and self-starting individual to teach the Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) Psychology module.

With over 30 years of experience in the pre-university sector, the Warwick IFP has successfully enabled thousands of students from across the globe to kick-start their degree at a university of their choice. Each of our five intensive academic courses is designed to support students’ academic, English language and extra-curricular development and to enable their subsequent progression to undergraduate degree courses at the University of Warwick or other leading UK institutions.

The successful candidate will join Warwick Foundation Studies, the University of Warwick’s newest academic department exclusively responsible for the University’s international pre-university provision.

Candidates should note that the position is available on a teaching-only basis and the department is not actively involved in research in any discipline. Candidates should demonstrate the academic and pedagogical expertise necessary to enable them to successfully deliver Psychology content at pre-university level, in addition to the capacity to support the departments Academic Skills course.

Interview date: 1 March 2018
