Job Overview:
UCB are seeking to appoint an Apprenticeship Assessor to support the delivery of a range of high quality apprenticeship programmes through the development of required knowledge, skills, and behaviours in the field of Professional Cookery.

This post will focus on apprenticeship standards for commis chef and chef de partie, as well as more senior positions as the new standards are published. Key duties will comprise training, teaching and assessment, including the delivery of functional skills as required. There is also an expectation that you will take a proactive approach to business development and contribute to the growth of the apprenticeship provision.

The successful candidate will have relevant vocational experience, combined with a background of assessing, training or teaching. You will have well-developed organisational, administration and communication skills and confident use of IT, including e-portfolios. You will be informed about updates within your field of expertise and possess the ability to motivate a diverse range of learners.

Support and funding will be provided for the post-holder to work towards a Verifier qualification, if not already held.

This post will involve travel off-site; flexibility is therefore essential and the post-holder will also ideally hold a valid driving licence.
