Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Pharmacy (Maternity Cover)

Applications are invited for a full-time, fixed term lecturer to join the Pharmacy team delivering novel, patient focused Pharmacy initiatives within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences at the University of Birmingham. 

The post is within the Pharmacy School and is to undertake maternity leave cover.

At fellow level, it is expected that applicants would be pharmaceutically qualified and would contribute to all aspects of professional teaching. Applicants for a lectureship post would be expected to also hold a doctoral qualification in a relevant pharmaceutical specialty and would be able to join one of our dynamic research groups.

The School has active links with healthcare providers and other healthcare professionals providing an excellent platform for successful applicants to develop an academic teaching portfolio in pharmacy practice / clinical pharmacy and for lecturers to participate in professional research.

Applicants should ideally have a background in delivering patient facing clinical pharmacy or pharmaceutical care, pharmacy professional practice and / or pharmaceutical education.

Full time starting salary is normally in the range £39,993 to £47,722. With potential progression once in post to £53,690 a year
