This is an exciting opportunity to join an international consortium whose objective is to develop new ways to control crystallisation by combining cutting-edge experiment and modelling to understand the mechanisms that determine how inorganic crystals nucleate and grow. Our team has a proven track record for both internationally leading research and industrial engagement in crystallisation. The consortium is led by Professor Fiona Meldrum (University of Leeds) and is funded by an EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) programme grant for five years.

We are seeking a post-doctoral researcher who is close to completion of a PhD, or holds a PhD in material science, physical science or similar discipline. The application should have experience in a range of simulation techniques particularly in the areas of classical molecular dynamics. An understanding of writing scientific computer programs and scripts is essential.
