Salary: £49,149 - £55,297 pa with potential to progress to £58,655 pa on achieving designated skills and experience

Grade: UH9

FTE: This is a full time position working 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

The University of Hertfordshire is a forward-looking and business facing organisation with an exciting and extensive masterplan programme of major capital projects. The appointees will work within the Department of Estates, Hospitality and Contract Services which provides a professional and customer focused infrastructure service.

The Department wishes to supplement its existing capital projects staff by recruiting to the key position of Senior Project Manager.

The post holder will provide a programme and project management service to the Department of Estates, Hospitality and Contract Services and lead on designated capital projects.

The successful candidate will have substantial proven practical experience of project management and extensive knowledge of property/estates matters.

The successful candidate will have extensive project management experience of contracts of a value of £4M+

It is essential that the post holder shows a flexible approach to work and demonstrates the ability to work effectively and flexibly under pressure and to tight deadlines

Qualifications required

A Degree level standard or equivalent. Working towards a recognised professional qualification.
