PA to the Executive Dean and Director of Operations

Purpose and Main Duties
We are seeking a well-organised, efficient, proactive candidate to work as a Personal Assistant within the School of Law. In this role, you will provide diary management and administrative support to the Executive Dean and Director of Operations, including supporting School-wide annual processes, administering and monitoring central School budgets, providing committee support and organising School events.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience of the requirements of a successful Personal Assistant, with an understanding of current issues and trends in the higher education sector. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks effectively. You will need to have experience of handling confidential material and using tact and discretion. You should also have excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills. You will also require previous experience of managing diaries and correspondence.

Further Information

Salary: Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £32,586 rising to £37,169 per annum.

This post is full time, 35 hours per week and open-ended. The salary quoted above is on the College's London Pay Scale and includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the Greater London area. The initial salary will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. The appointment may be subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
