Policy and Governance Officer (1.0FTE)

Glasgow School of Art - Policy and Governance Department

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the Policy and Governance function at GSA.   

You will work as part of a small team, supporting the Policy and Governance department with projects as determined by the Deputy Registrar and Senior Policy Officer, including the provision of administrative support for relevant aspects of policy and governance activity, including central academic standards and quality assurance, and committee management.   

You will have degree level or equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience in a Higher Education or a related sector. You will have experience or thorough knowledge and understanding of HEI process and procedures regarding academic quality assurance and experience of committee cycle management, including preparing agendas, producing minutes and progressing actions. The ability to process and analyse complex information in order to produce detailed reports, guidelines, policies and procedures is essential for this position.
