We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Nano Science and Technology group at the Department of Engineering Science in central Oxford. The post is funded by “Smart Flexible Quantum Dot Lighting” project and is fixed-term to 30 June 2019.

This project will focus on electroluminescent (EL) and light emitting diode (LED) display/device based on solution processed quantum dots and functional semiconducting nanomaterials. You will be responsible for the design and the fabrication of the EL devices. This work will also involve a fundamental analysis and characterisation of the materials and devices, and viable integration technology. No experimental work will be possible after December 2018.

You should hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or be near completion). Possess direct experience and extensive knowledge of design, fabrication and optical and electrical characterisation of solution-processed optoelectric devices based on QDs. Hold experience of optical and electrical characterisation for functional organic and inorganic semiconducting nano materials and knowledge and hands-on skill of optoelectric analysis and fabrication facilities.
