General Maintenance Craftsperson

Based in Milton Keynes

Estates are responsible for the management and development of the University’s premises in Milton Keynes and its National and Regional Centres.

The Infrastructure Team is seeking an experienced craftsperson to join the University’s team of staff carrying out maintenance work at the Walton Hall Campus in Milton Keynes.

You must have good interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to providing a high quality service to our customers.

You will have an NVQ Level 2 in joinery gained through a modern apprenticeship, or past equivalent, together with proven multi-disciplined experience in plastering, carpentry, painting and decorating, general repair work and much more.

A full current driving licence for manual gear change vehicles is essential as you will be required to use University vehicles to transport equipment around campus, to East campus and on occasion, pick up supplies.
