Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the NDT Section as an Office Manager based in Great Abington, Cambridge.  Your role will assist the Manager in the efficient running of the Section.  You will provide administrative services in support of TWI business, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and commercial material, according to internal procedures and using recognised software packages and operate switchboard.


  • Manage the monthly accounts: process accounts to Trial Balance, Invoice and statement writing
  • Arrange all aspects of travel including international visa’s and carnets
  • Format proposals, reports and presentations in line with TWI’s Corporate Style
  • Assist the Manager and Sales Representatives in their daily tasks
  • Support NSIRC students with the conference procedure
  • Adopt flexible approach to work in addition to core responsibilities, prioritise workload according to business needs
  • Maintain information management systems according to TWI standards and procedures within the functional area and produce documents in line with TWI Corporate Style Manual
  • Prioritise incoming work to meet internal and external customer/supplier requirements and to work to deadlines.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns for NDT projects


  • Possess a strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate an organised approach, prioritising incoming work to meet tight deadlines and internal and external customer requirements.
  • Have advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Permanent, Full Time, 36 hours p/wk, Competitive Salary
