Research Support Officer

Cardiff University - College of Biomedical and Life Sciences

The post holder will facilitate research undertaken across the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, providing advice, guidance and support.  You will join a well-established College team with joint responsibility for managing the portfolio of work across relevant academic schools.

You will be pro-active in supporting research and related activities in academic schools which already have international reputations for research excellence and are major generators of external research income to the University.

The focus of your activities will be strongly influenced by the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences Research Strategy and Delivery Plan. Your work will directly support the achievement of the University’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for research.

This is a full-time, fixed term post until 30 September 2019, contract extension may be possible following securement of external funds.

Salary: £26,495 - £30,688 per annum (Grade 5)
