The University of Cambridge Development and Alumni Relations (CUDAR) Office is the alumni relations and fundraising arm of the University, responsible for raising major philanthropic gifts and building and sustaining lifelong links between Cambridge and its worldwide community of more than 300,000 alumni and supporters. CUDAR also holds overall responsibility for coordinating University-wide development campaigns and raising funds to support Schools, faculties, departments and other central University institutions. Development and Alumni Relations works closely with Cambridge's 31 Colleges and its sister office, Cambridge in America, to maximise fundraising from a range of constituencies across the globe.

We have launched a new CRM system, Amicus. This system contains detailed records for over 300,000 alumni, prospects, donors, trusts and organisations. The data held enables fundraising and alumni relations across Collegiate Cambridge, and is also used on behalf of Schools, Faculties and Departments, Clubs and Societies, Cambridge Trusts and Cambridge in America to drive communications with alumni, and to identify and co-ordinate fundraising approaches with prospects.

The Amicus Coordinator enables the Amicus team to act effectively and efficiently by providing comprehensive support and coordination. You will have strong organisational and administrative abilities in order to effectively undertake tasks such as the booking of meetings, diary management, arranging and booking travel, arranging and booking training sessions and co-ordinating system issues raised through the helpdesk.

Applicants should have strong secretarial/administration experience and must have good communication and organisational skills, confident telephone manner and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent computer skills especially knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook experience together with a proven ability to work as a member of a team are also essential.
