We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the operations of the Health, Safety and Risk Directorate providing support across the University. 

The Administrative Assistant will work as part of a small administration team and will provide a reception service, deal with general health and safety queries via telephone and email and liaise with the Directorate Technical Health and Safety Advisers to ensure queries are managed in a timely manner. Experience of creating and maintaining accurate electronic records and organising the booking of rooms for events etc. would be an advantage.

The post holder will be required to support other administration team members with day-to-day and planned tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved.

You will possess very good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook, and a willingness to develop skills in web site maintenance and management. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining close attention to detail and a calm and cheerful manner. You will show excellent attention to detail, record keeping skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
