Counselling Lecturers

Newham College University Centre is the higher education faculty of Newham College.

We require Counselling Lecturers who will deliver teaching to our undergraduate counselling students. Candidates must be educated to postgraduate level (MA preferred) and hold relevant professional qualifications (BACP/BPS/UKCP/HPC) and experience.

Teaching will be across all levels and should be able to cover topics like Ethics, Law, Research methods as well as various therapies including Integrative Therapy and/or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) required.

Direct teaching hours including development and provision of learning materials, student feedback and support, preparation and marking of the scheduled programme of work.  You will also be required to attend team meetings and assessment boards. Teaching experience at HE level preferred.

In particular we are looking for lecturers to deliver the following: Level 4 Professional Ethics, Introduction to Integrative, Developing Integrative and Professional Ethics, Level 5 Research Methods
